Holy Island Radio

We have left this site as a legacy and memorial to challenging lockdown times on Holy Island.

It would probably be the understatement of the 21st Century to say that we are living in challenging times - globally, nationally, in our own island community and personally.

We would hope that these hard times give rise to a 'wartime mentality' - we need to stand together and each do what we can. On Holy Island we know that we in real terms are several small communities living closely together but at such an unprecedented time we need to remember that there is much more that unites us than might keep us apart.

The Holy Island Support Group has been set up to co-ordinate our response and it is in that same spirit - and with the support and encouragement of the Group's Chair - that we are offering these podcasts.

Simply they are a means of not only sharing information but also reinforcing a sense of community and allowing us to hear each other's voices - something that might become increasingly difficult in the days ahead.

Let us know if you would like to contribute to the project in any way - you would be very welcome. The simplest way would be to contact us by email.
